Support and advice services available at Foodbank

As well as providing emergency food parcels, Rugeley Foodbank also host support and advice services at our centre at Rugeley Community Centre.

All sessions are open to all – not only foodbank clients. Please drop in to any of the following:

 

Beacon

Attend most foodbank sessions to offer a free employment and training support programme which includes:

  • Help with CV writing
  • Bespoke 1:1 support
  • IT training,
  • Work experience
  • Support with job searches and applications

 

Council Tenancy Advice and Support

Cannock Council’s Neighbourhood Officer regularly comes to Foodbank and is available to provide help and advice.

Andy Smith from Cannock Chase housing dept is available every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 2-4pm.

 

CAB (Citizens Advice Staffordshire South West)

CAB work from the Centre on Tuesday mornings, 9am-1pm and they are offering a drop-in service.

 

Penk Moneywise

Any of our volunteers can arrange a direct referral to the Moneywise debt advice service.

South Staffs Water

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, 2-4pm, Nichola Clarke, SSW’s Community Engagement Officer can advise on their social tariffs, water meters and Priority Service Register.

 

Staffordshire Victims Gateway

Are available at the Centre to give advice and help every Monday and Tuesday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
